| It has been reported that a barge being towed by a Malaysia-flagged tug was transiting the West bound lane of the traffic separation scheme in the Singapore Strait when a sampan with eight people onboard went alongside the barge. The Master reported that a quantity of scrap metal was stolen, no assistance was required, and the vessel proceeded to its next port of call. | |||||
