Open-source reporting indicates that, during the night of 27 July 2026, three dry cargo vessels were struck by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) while berthed and/or unloading cargo at Mykolaiv port, Ukraine (exact time and location not specified). Reporting attributes the strike to Russian attack drones, citing a statement by Russia’s Ministry of Defence. Local authorities have reportedly stated that there has been one fatality and multiple casualties.
