The UKMTO have reported that a cargo vessel has been struck by an unknown projectile whilst transiting the Strait of Hormuz (exact position not specified). The vessel's Company Security Officer reported that the vessel caught fire and is currently adrift. All crew have been evacuated, with two casualties reported. No environmental impact has been reported at this time. Authorities are investigating the incident. UPDATE: The MICA Center have reported that one of the two crew casualties has now deceased. It has also been confirmed that the engines are non-operational.
