| Open-sources have reported that Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces conducted strikes against ten vessels involved in Russian maritime logistics in the Sea of Azov and near occupied Crimea overnight on 6-7 July (exact times and positions not specified). Pilots from the "Kairos" unit of the 414th Separate Brigade struck eight tankers reportedly operating as part of Russia's shadow fleet on the Azov-Crimea fuel route. The tankers were transporting gasoline and petroleum products between Russian ports, the Kerch Strait, and occupied Crimea. Separately, operators from the "Rarog" unit struck a cargo vessel in the Sea of Azov, whilst additional operators from the Unmanned Systems Forces struck a ferry near occupied Crimea. All targeted tankers are reported to be under international sanctions. The strikes are part of ongoing operations to disrupt fuel and logistics supplies supporting Russian forces in occupied Crimea. Ukrainian forces also reportedly struck targets in Crimea's energy infrastructure and logistics hubs during the same operation. | |||||
