Open source reports state that US Central Command forces have successfully destroyed five Iranian-backed Houthi Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, three over the Red Sea and two over Houthi controlled areas of Yemen (exact positions not specified). It has been determined that these Unmanned Aerial Vehicles presented a threat to US, coalition and merchant vessels in the region.
