It has been reported to the UKMTO that a vessel has been attacked 180nm East of Nishtun, Yemen (exact position not specified). The authorities are investigating. UPDATE: The Master reported to the UKMTO that an explosion occurred in close proximity and the vessel and crew are safe. Clearwater have also been able to confirm that the vessel involved was a United States-flagged container ship and that five missiles targeted the vessel. One of the missiles exploded 0.5nm in front of the container ship but no damage was sustained. The vessel is continuing to its next port of call.
