| It has been reported that there has been an attack on a tanker approximately 48nm Southwest of Hodeidah, Yemen. The authorities are currently investigating. UPDATE 1: The UKMTO have released further information stating that the Master of the vessel witnessed an explosion a significant distance from the tanker. The vessel and crew are safe, and are continuing to its next port of call. UPDATE 2: Further confirmed information has been received stating that the explosion that was witnessed, was an attack by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle on a Malta-flagged tanker approximately 66nm Northwest of Jizan, Saudi Arabia. The vessel was not hit, no damage was sustained and the crew were reported safe. The vessel continued to her next port of call. | |||||
