| The UKMTO have received a report of an incident, approximately 57nm North-northwest of Assab, Eritrea. The authorities are currently investigating. UPDATE 1: The Master reported a small craft circling the vessel. The armed security team onboard displayed their weapons and fired warning shots which resulted in the suspicious craft departing. The vessel and crew are reported safe and are proceeding to their next port. UPDATE 2: Further information has been received confirming the vessel involved was a Malta-flagged bulk carrier. | |||||
