| The UKMTO have received a report of an incident 90nm South of Al Duqm, Oman (exact location not specified). The authorities are currently investigating. Vessels are advised to transit with extreme caution and report any suspicious activity to the UKMTO. UPDATE: The UKMTO have received further information confirming that a vessel was followed by five to six small boats each with up to three persons onboard. The small boats followed the vessel for ninety minutes and it is reported each boat had a machine gun mounted on the bow and powerful outboard engines. The boats came to within 0.7 nautical miles of the vessel before clearing the area. The vessel and crew are reported safe. | |||||
